The Scout is highlighting the top-performing players over the first three Gameweeks of 2024/25 Fantasy Premier League, showing the best XI, lining up in a 3-5-2 formation. 

Liverpool dominate the line-up thanks to their 100 per cent start under new head coach Arne Slot, with the Reds supplying SIX of the 11 players.

Alisson Becker (Liverpool) £5.5m, 21pts

The Brazilian has been a key figure in helping Liverpool to a trio of clean sheets, more than any other side across the first three Gameweeks. Alisson has also collected one save point and two bonus points to top the goalkeeper standings on 21 points.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) £7.0m, 20pts

Liverpool’s right-back sits atop the defender standings on 20 points thanks to three clean sheets and two bonus points. Alexander-Arnold’s totals of seven key passes and three big chances created also rank first in his position in Fantasy.

Andrew Robertson (Liverpool) £6.0m, 18pts

The Scot’s defensive output already matches his total from 2023/24, when he managed three shutouts in 18 starts. Robertson’s five key passes earn him third spot among defenders in the first three Gameweeks.

Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool) £6.0m, 18pts

His defensive contribution has been vital to Liverpool’s strong start under Slot. Van Dijk has made 22 clearances, blocks and interceptions (CBI), nine more than any team-mate.

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) £12.6m, 41pts

Three goals, three assists and eight bonus points have taken the Egyptian to joint-top in the overall player standings on 41 points. Salah’s five big chances and four big chances created both rank top for Liverpool, highlighting his huge all-round potential.

Luis Diaz (Liverpool) £7.6m, 32pts

The Colombian’s three goals and an assist have helped him amass 32 points. At a cost of £7.6m, Diaz is the best-value player in Fantasy right now – he has returned 4.2 points per million spent. 

Cole Palmer (Chelsea) £10.6m, 25pts

Last season’s top-scoring player in Fantasy has been quick to remind managers of his talismanic role for Chelsea. Palmer has been involved in five of the Blues’ seven goals under Enzo Maresca, with a 17-point haul against Wolverhampton Wanderers in Gameweek 2 the highlight so far.

Bukayo Saka (Arsenal) £10.1m, 24pts

Arsenal’s winger has made a perfect start to the new season, producing attacking returns in each of his three outings. Saka has combined a goal and three assists with three bonus points to total 24 points. 

Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford) £7.1m, 24pts

An ownership of just seven per cent has made the Brentford star a standout differential at the beginning of 2024/25 Fantasy. Mbeumo has three goals and five bonus points to his name and will be a top target when the Bees' schedule turns kinder from Gameweek 6.

Erling Haaland (Man City) £15.2m, 41pts

The Manchester City star sits alongside Salah at the top of the player standings after scoring seven goals, including back-to-back hat-tricks against Ipswich Town and West Ham United. Haaland is now owned by 66 per cent of managers, over 22 per cent more than any other player in the game.

Danny Welbeck (Brighton) £5.7m, 23pts

Brighton & Hove Albion’s forward has been a big budget success under new head coach Fabian Hurzeler, with two goals, an assist and 23 points. Welbeck has had six shots in the box – twice the number of his identically priced team-mate Joao Pedro – while he also leads the Brazilian by four key passes to three.
