See which players are unavailable for Premier League matches because they are suspended or are close to a ban due to their accumulation of yellow cards.

Who is suspended?

Ryan Christie became the latest player to accumulate five yellow cards, picking up a caution in AFC Bournemouth's 3-2 loss at Brentford. He is suspended for the visit of Brighton & Hove Albion to the Vitality Stadium.

Daichi Kamada was shown a straight red card for serious foul play in Crystal Palace's 2-0 defeat to Fulham, triggering an automatic three-match ban. He will miss the upcoming encoutners against Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Ipswich Town.

Mohammed Kudus will miss West Ham United's trip to Newcastle as well as the home match versus Arsenal.

Kudus completed a three-match ban in the Hammers' 0-0 draw with Everton following his sending off in West Ham's 4-1 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur. But he was subsequently suspended for two additional fixtures after an independent Regulatory Commission ruled that he had acted in an improper manner and/or used violent conduct following his red card.

Kalvin Phillips was dismissed for two bookable offences in Ipswich Town's 1-1 draw with Leicester City, and will therefore sit out his team's Matchweek 11 trip to Spurs.

Will Hughes served his one-match ban for reaching the five-yellow-card threshold in Palace's defeat to Fulham. He could return for the trip to Aston Villa following the international break.

Edson Alvarez sat out the encounter with Everton after being sent off for picking up two cautions in West Ham's defeat at Nottingham Forest in Matchweek 10. He is available for the Matchweek 12 fixture at Newcastle.

Having watched Ipswich's Matchweek 10 draw with Leicester from the sidelines, Harry Clarke is an option for Kieran McKenna once more, having served his suspension.

Clarke endured a wretched afternoon in the 4-3 defeat at Brentford in Matchweek 9. Making his first start of the campaign, the defender was sent off for two bookable offences and conceded a penalty.

Two managers are free to return to the touchlines in Matchweek 11. Forest head coach Nuno Espirito Santo will be back in the technical area for their match against Newcastle United after completing a three-match ban for using improper manner and/or used abusive and/or insulting words towards a fourth official.

Leicester's Steve Cooper will also be allowed in the technical area at Old Trafford after serving a one-match touchline ban at Portman Road.

Who is close to a ban?

Players who receive a total of five yellow cards in their first 19 matches will be given a one-match suspension.

Chelsea's Nicolas Jackson is one of 24 on four yellow cards, a list that also includes AFC Bournemouth's Antoine Semenyo and Wolves defender Rayan Ait-Nouri.

Meanwhile, Cole Palmer is among a growing number of players on three yellow cards.

Should a player be booked 10 times across their first 32 Premier League matches, they will be suspended for two games. Yellow cards are not carried over to the EFL Cup or FA Cup.
