After Christian Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest while playing during UEFA EURO 2020, the Premier League pledged to fund the provision of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) at grassroots football clubs and facilities.
Working in partnership with the Football Foundation and The FA, more than 1,500 sites were able to benefit from this investment.
The AEDs are accessible, if required, to an estimated 1.5 million people per season.
